Laura Daydie: the first Doctor in Energy Law of Pau Droit Public

Laura Daydie defended her thesis on "Local public entities and energy", on November 28, 2016, at the Law, Economy and Management Faculty, before a jury composed of Jean Gourdou, professor of public law at the University of Pau and the Adour region and chairman of the jury, Claudie Boiteau, professor of public law at the University of Paris Dauphine and president of the French Association of Energy Law (AFDEN), rapporteur, Laetitia Janicot, professor of public law at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, rapporteur, Hubert Delzangles, professor of public law at Bordeaux Institute of Political Science and Philippe Terneyre, professor of public law at the University of Pau and the Adour region, head of research.

Laura Daydie was the recipient of a doctoral grant funded by the County Council of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in 2013 and obtained the title of “Doctor of public law” with the highest possible mention. She is the first postgraduate from the Pau Droit Public research center to defend a dissertation on energy law.

Laura Daudie is very active within the “energy” team at the research center and will now become a research fellow.
